The Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) program is a professional training course designed for individuals who want to work with young children, typically from birth to 6 years old. The curriculum focuses on child psychology, early cognitive and physical development, play-based pedagogical methods, health, nutrition, and foundational classroom management. It equips aspiring preschool teachers, childcare coordinators, and educators with the skills needed to create safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environments.

  • Certificate Course: 6 Months to 1 Year

  • Diploma Course: 1 Year to 2 Years

  • Postgraduate Diploma: 1 Year to 2 Years

  • Internal Assessments (30% – 40% weightage): Lesson plan creation, teaching aid preparation, class attendance, and continuous practical evaluations.

  • External Theory Exams (60% – 70% weightage): Written end-of-term examinations covering child development theories, educational philosophies, and health/nutrition guidelines.

  • Practical & Teaching Practice: Supervised classroom internships, practical portfolio submissions, and viva-voce examinations.

    • Physical, motor, cognitive, language, and socio-emotional development milestones (ages 0–6)

    • Understanding individual differences and behavioral patterns in young children

  • Module 3: Health, Safety, and Nutrition

    • Basic pediatric first aid and health management

    • Nutritional requirements and healthy eating habits for growing children

    • Personal hygiene and safety standards in a school or daycare environment

  • Module 4: Curriculum Planning & Teaching Methods

    • Play-based and activity-based learning approaches

    • Storytelling, rhymes, drama, creative arts, and music in early education

    • Designing learning materials and low-cost teaching aids

  • Module 5: Preschool Organization & Management

    • Classroom setup, layout design, and daily scheduling
