Ph.D. Full-Time: Designed for research scholars who can commit entirely to campus-based academic research. Scholars work full-time at the university under the guidance of a Research Supervisor, attending daily seminars, conducting laboratory or field research, and often assisting in teaching or departmental activities.
Ph.D. Part-Time: Tailored for working professionals, corporate employees, teachers, or research staff who want to pursue a doctorate without leaving their current employment. Candidates must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer, confirming that adequate time and facilities are granted to conduct research.

Entrance Test (50% Qualifying Marks):
Paper I (50%): Research Methodology, Analytical Skill, & Quantitative Aptitude.
Paper II (50%): Discipline-Specific subject knowledge.
(Exemption is granted to candidates with UGC-NET / CSIR-NET / GATE / JRF qualifications).
Research Interview / Presentation (30% Weightage):
Candidates present their preliminary research proposal/interest before the Departmental Research Committee (DRC).
Mandatory for both Full-Time and Part-Time scholars.
Evaluated via written theory examinations and continuous internal assessments. Scholars must secure at least 55% aggregate marks (or equivalent grade) to proceed with thesis registration.
Progress Reviews: Bi-annual or annual progress presentations before the Research Advisory Committee (RAC).
Pre-Thesis Seminar: Open presentation of synopsis before final submission.
External Evaluation: Thesis review by 2 external subject experts followed by an open Oral Defense / Viva-Voce.
